Every moment is a lesson, especially in the studio on a 1/2 hour show. So far I have learned two major ones.

The first show I already spoke of, but I realized this week that two CD players are more easily dealt with than 3. That is why I have never learned to juggle.

This time I learned that I should wear the headphones properly so I know how loud the music is when I am speaking. But unfortunately not until I listened to the show afterward.

But hey, I am still having fun.

Once again, please throw feedback my way. It helps a lot.

Additionally, if you have any ideas for songs about Space! (also sun, moon, stars, rockets, the universe, etc.) throw them my way.

Until later...

  • Space Oddity (Major Tom) by David Bowie.

    Jamiroquai--Return of the space cowboy

hehe... champagne supernova in the sky...

Lucy in the Sky??? (not quite space)

    Rocket Man--heehee

Theme from Star Wars (remember that star wars disco record mom had when we were kids...) or 2001--not really about space, but has that association. Could use it very briefly in the intro, then voice-over it.

Ummm... REM--If you believe we put a man on the moon.

  • Blister in the Sun--Violent Femmes

Brings me back... A little more ummmm... hedonistically-oriented than space oriented, but, yeah.

  • Y'all are awesome!

Greg: You and I have must have mind melded (to maintain the space theme By the by there is a band called Spock's Beard out there).

    The list is growing.

    Thanks.

But FYI, I may be changing the topic to WAR/PEACE in order to be friendlier to the audience of the show I am taking over - more music in the spoken word/hip-hop genres.
